Please find below the final update regarding the derailment of train U70451-02 taken from COSCO’s newsletter earlier today:-
Train U70451-02 derailed along the Ruel subdivision of the CN main line, near Gogama, ON. The incident, which occurred at 0246hrs EST on Saturday, March 07, is currently impacting rail traffic running between Toronto, ON, and Winnipeg, MB.
Repairs were completed as of 1200hrs EDT on Wednesday, March 18, and our trains have resumed using their regular routes. Customers should expect some delays as we eliminate any backlogs during the return to normal operations in the area.
