Please find below an update taken from CIFFA regarding Monday’s derailment.
The construction of the bypass was expected to be completed yesterday as of 1600hrs EDT. This temporary measure will allow traffic to cross the affected area at reduced speed pending completion of the overall repairs, due early next week. For the time being, westbound and eastbound traffic scheduled to cross the affected area continues to be detoured around the site and is still experiencing delays.
